Terms of Service

Effective October 11, 2026

These terms apply to your use of solaradvantage.us (the "site"), operated by Solar Advantage, a dba of Createfirm Services Corporation ("Solar Advantage," "we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What Solar Advantage Does

Solar Advantage is an independent energy consultant. We identify energy opportunities, advise clients, and connect them with developers, engineering and construction firms, installers, and financing providers. Licensed partner companies design, build, install, own, and operate the energy systems, and any contract for a system or project is between you and the company providing it.

Residential solar sales are made by Ernie Delgado, California Home Improvement Salesperson Reg. No. 134510SP, on behalf of licensed installation partners.

2. Information on This Site

  • Everything on this site is general information. Each project is unique, and all information is subject to change based on project requirements.
  • Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting, financial, or engineering advice. Tax credits, direct pay, and other incentives depend on the project, its owner, and the rules in effect. Ask your own advisors before you rely on them.
  • Facts and figures come from the public sources we cite and may change after we publish them.
  • Photos and illustrations are for illustration only. They do not show Solar Advantage projects, clients, or customers.

3. No Offer or Guarantee

The site is not an offer to sell anything and does not create a contract. Savings, costs, incentive amounts, system sizes, and timelines discussed on the site or in a consultation are estimates, not guarantees. Final prices and terms appear only in a written agreement with the company providing the system or service.

4. Licensed Partner Companies

Partner companies are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own designs, permits, workmanship, products, warranties, financing terms, and system performance, and any guarantee of that work comes from them under their own contracts. Check any contractor's license with the licensing agency in your state; in California, that is the Contractors State License Board.

5. Information You Send Us

  • Please give accurate information when you fill out a form, and send only your own contact details.
  • We use what you send as described in our Privacy Policy, including sharing it with partner companies when needed to answer your request.
  • Agreeing to calls and text messages is optional and never required to use the site or to buy anything.
  • Do not use the site or its forms to send spam, unlawful content, or anything that harms the site or other people.

6. Fundraiser and Referral Programs

The Reverse Fundraiser and the Homeowner Referral program are governed by our separate Program Terms.

7. Our Name, Logo, and Content

SOLAR ADVANTAGE® is a registered trademark of Createfirm Services Corporation (U.S. Reg. No. 8484159). The site's text, logo, graphics, and design belong to Createfirm Services Corporation or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business use. Please do not copy, change, or reuse our name, logo, or content without written permission.

The site links to other websites, such as government sources and the IRS. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

9. Disclaimer

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Solar Advantage and Createfirm Services Corporation are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to one hundred dollars ($100). Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under a separate written agreement.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.
